Implement Flood Forecast·Warning using Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Rainfall Radar and T/M data. Comprehensive flood management is implemented in Foundation of River & Basin Integrated Communication.

River Information Center provides information related to the river basin quickly and accurately to the related person in charge. The person in charge passes the information to the public and disaster prevention organizations to protect people and their properties, as well as providing current status of the inundated area to the mass media.
The River Information Center collects and edits observed data from each stations, then transmits necessary information to each flood control facilities, as well as composing Flood Risk Map in order to predict anticipated inundated areas for evacuation guidance.

Flood forecast·warning system is implemented parallel with disaster prevention general planning, disaster prevention task planning, local disaster prevention planning, city·government·town local disaster prevention planning, etc. in accordance with Act on Disaster Preparedness. Primary responsibility is given to the local government (city·government·town etc.), and upper self-governing system and the central government takes further responsibilities.
